However, there are obstacles in daily conversion. The hindrances come from several barriers that can negatively impact communication and relationships. Among some common barriers to effective communication and how they can negatively impact communication in a campus environment as follow:-

  • Language Barriers: Language barriers can make it difficult for individuals to understand each other, resulting in misunderstandings and miscommunication. In a campus environment, language barriers can arise between international students and faculty, which can lead to a lack of participation and a sense of isolation.
